We are part of The EPC Man Network which has been established in the UK for over 10 years and is the largest network of independent EPC providers in the UK. We are now planning to make localepc.es the largest network of independent EPC providers in Spain.
We are NOT a panel and we will never ask you to pay in advance.
100% of the price you pay for your energy performance certificate is retained by the assessor who provides your EPC service. Your local assessor sets the epc price and unlike other national EPC providers we do not take any commission from the cost of your epc. This ensures that you get the lowest price possible for your energy performance certificate by booking direct with your local epc provider.
What is an Energy Performance Certificate?
An Energy Performance Certificate or EPC for short is needed whenever a property is built, sold or rented. If you are selling or renting your property, you must order an EPC for potential buyers and tenants before you market your property for sale or rental. The energy performance certificate we provide is compliant with regulations for both the rental or sale of the property. The information on the EPC will help owners and occupiers make their property more energy efficient and allow potential buyers and tenants to compare the energy efficiency of different properties.
The EPC contains information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs as well as recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money.
An EPC gives a property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and it is currently valid for 10 years.
Use the menu in the left hand column to select your region and find your local epc for your area. Simply call to discuss the cost and make an appointment for the assessor to carry out the EPC survey which on an average domestic property will take around 30 to 40 minutes.
The Energy Performance Certificate (epc) will be produced within 48 hours of this survey. This will then be sent by email to your agent or solicitor. You can also have a copy by email if required.
Please remember that you should organise your EPC before you market your property for sale or rental.
Landlord Notice: All private rental properties must now achieve an energy efficiency rating of at least an E on their Energy Performance Certificate. If your property has an F or G Rating you may not be allowed to rent it out. Please find your local member from the left hand menu and call for advice on how to improve the epc rating.
